Sigma Lambda Beta's mission is to nurture and further a dynamic, values-based environment that utilizes our historically Latino-based fraternity as a catalyst to better serve the needs and wants of all people.

BROTHERHOOD
Brotherhood is the heart of Sigma Lambda Beta. It’s the reason so many of us joined — and it’s the reason we stay. Within our chapter, brotherhood means having a true support system and a place where you’re always welcomed and understood. It’s more than just hanging out — it’s building real relationships that last way beyond college. As we move from being students to alumni, those bonds only grow stronger. Brotherhood isn’t something we talk about once — it’s something we live every day, in everything we do.
SCHOLARSHIP
Education is a huge part of who we are. At Sigma Lambda Beta, we take academics seriously — it’s not just about being active in the fraternity, it’s about pushing each other to succeed in the classroom too. Every Brother is expected to meet a minimum GPA because we believe that success starts with education. But it doesn’t stop there. We encourage our Brothers to aim even higher, and many have gone on to earn graduate degrees in fields like business, law, education, and more. Scholarship isn’t just a requirement — it’s part of the legacy we’re building.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Giving back is a big part of who we are. At Sigma Lambda Beta, we believe in making a real difference — in our communities, in our country, and around the world. One of the ways we do this nationally is through our Victor Correa CPR Awareness Day, where we help teach life-saving skills to others. But it doesn’t stop there. Locally, our chapters are always involved in service projects and charity work that support the communities we’re a part of. Serving others isn’t just something we do — it’s something we believe in.
CULTURAL AWARENESS
Our Brotherhood is built on diversity. Our Brothers come from all kinds of backgrounds, and we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and stories that make each of us unique. At Sigma Lambda Beta, we’re proud to share and uplift the rich cultures we come from — not just within our fraternity, but with the world around us. Cultural awareness isn’t just about recognizing differences — it’s about embracing them and growing together because of them.
